3D alignment design and preparation of s278 Agreement technical approval submission details for improvements to an existing 6-arm roundabout to create a new access arm into a proposed B8 distribution facility
Contractor’s Designer for £1m scheme to improve and rebuild an existing on-site access road serving Wycombe AirPark such that it can cater for potential future development proposals.
Sub-consultancy appointment to provide design support for a £30million design and build highway improvement scheme to replace an existing level crossing on the A605 at Whittlesey with a new overbridge crossing. Extent of works included approx 1200m of new single carriageway road and 2no 48m ICD roundabouts for which 278 Consulting Limited undertook an initial review of the Client’s indicative design for the scheme and the full 3D alignment design modelling of the highway works
Detailed design and preparation of technical approval submission for s278 Agreement works to create a footway extension along the public highway frontage of a development of 2no dwellings. Submission of proposed details to Northants Highways and management of process to obtain their technical approval.
Prepare and submit an application to the Department for Transport for the ‘stopping-up’ of part of the public highway as part of the development of a single dwelling. Subsequently appointed to undertake the detailed design of minor s278 Agreement highway improvement works to create a new footway along the frontage of the development and submission of the construction details to Derbyshire County Council for full technical approval.
